Frequently asked questions
- How many comments can I export?
- Up to 500 per export, in the order YouTube proposes (most relevant first). Replies are not included, only their count.
- The CSV file opens badly in Excel?
- The file is UTF-8 encoded with a BOM so Excel displays accents and emojis correctly. If columns do not split, use Data > From Text and choose the comma separator.
- Can I export the comments of my own channel?
- Yes, video by video. For a full channel export, YouTube Studio also offers an export from its settings.
